Many customers are asking us this question, so we thought we'd explain it in our own words.
We are a business, registered with HMRC and use a chartered accountants in Doncaster who take care of all of our tax affairs. We are in business to grow it, become well known and most of all, to make a living from it. We don't do it for pocket money.
We have invested heavily in branding for Swift Ironing Services - purchasing images from online image libraries, have our own logo designed for us.
We've purchased our own domain for online presence: swiftironingservices.co.uk. We have our own website with a online booking form and a blog. We also have our own Facebook Page and we run adverts regularly on there and also with Google AdWords.
You may have seen one of our leaflets dropped through your letter box, some with the Hatfield Arrow, some delivered by us. One of our cars even has a Swift Ironing Services decal on the back window in bright blue.
We use top of the line equipment to iron your clothes. Our steam generator irons can push vapourised steam in to your clothes at 6.7-bar pressure with up to a 450g steam boost - ensuring that fabrics are pressed to the best possible standard. Our flat press makes light work of bedding too!
We do your ironing. This is important to us. We're not middle men who pick up your clothes and then give them to someone else to iron. When we do your ironing, it doesn't go anywhere, we do it in a specially kitted out room, no pets, no smoke, no food smells; just exceptionally clean and odour free.
If you provide hangers for your clothes (or borrow them from us), we put all your garments in to polythene 80 guage cover bags for an extra level of protection when returning your ironing.
Swift Ironing Services provide you with an invoice that can be used for business purposes / expenses claims.
We've embraced social media to enable you to contact us in many ways. You could call us, our number is on all of our adverts, or text us. You could email us, you could use the contact form on our website, you could use the messenger system on Facebook, all of our adverts on there have a Send Message button - providing many ways to get in touch and stay in touch.
All this is testament to how serious we are about Swift and how professional we want to appear to our customers. We are small, but we want to offer the best experience to our customers as is possible.
